It is in a very central location in Lyndhurst, just behind the high street, and yet very peaceful.Breakfast was fantastic and I particularly liked the decor.

Very warm and friendly hosts, who take a genuine interest in their guests. Very good rooms, comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast options available.

the hotel was clean, well appointed for the town, but far enough to be quiet.

wish there was as i always moan about something , but it was first class

I appreciated the friendlinness of the owner who speaks French. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is of good quality.

The landlady is absolutely the best thing about this B and B! Her on top of a lovely house and a room that fitted our needs madee it a great place

Dislikes:

The ensuite bathroom in the twin room is very small! A little too small! Appartenyl being refurbished at the end of the year and would benefit from making the room a liitle smaller to fit shower room.

You were very organised to fit in a bit of walking, soaking up of the forest atmosphere, seeing old friends & attending a wedding. And on top of everything the weather was so good too. Yes, our plans for the refurbishment of the room you occupied include making the shower room bigger & subsequently losing a little space in the bedroom area, making the room more suitable all round. Thanks again.

Thank you for this. I hope your very special day aboard the Queen Mary lived up to your expectations. People quite often use us for a stay-over before going on a cruise, or collecting friends from a cruise and it seems to work well, much nicer than staying in Southampton. We can fit round most timings for this & will help out with parking or dropping guests off at the appropriate terminal. Perhaps if you decide to take a cruise holiday you will coincide it with a day or two here again.
